Just a very short walk from our Fly Fish Inn, our guests can  wade and bank fish our 2 mile stretch of private waters of the Jackson River as well as boat drift the countless miles of this  pristine river. Experienced as well as novice fly fish anglers find this to be fisherman’s paradise. This wild trout fishery is consistently ranked in the top 20 trout streams in the entire country. The Jackson River offers a unique fishing experience. It is a tailwater flowing out of Gathright Dam at Lake Momaw, which flows at a constant temperature range. A healthy and growing population of brown, brook and rainbow trout reside in these waters which can be fished 12 months of the year . Come join us for a  “blue ribbon” fly fishing experience.
